I love using this salve on my babies diaper rashes, and any small rashes and scrapes that my children get. 1. Add 3 cups of Calendula Flowers to a 2 quart jar that has been sterilized . Pour olive oil over it let sit in a cool dry room for 4weeks or you can infuse oil by , putting the jar in a pan of water on a low heat for 2 hours. do not bring to a boil.
2. Combine: Add the calendula-infused olive oil and beeswax pellets to a double boiler over medium-low heat.
3. Melt: Gently heat the mixture for approximately 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the beeswax is completely melted and the liquid is clear.
4. Cool: Remove the pot from the heat and allow it to cool slightly for 2 to 3 minutes (ensure it remains liquid and does not begin to cloud).
5. Infuse: Add the Frankincense and Helichrysum essential oils to the mixture and stir well to ensure even distribution.
6. Set: Carefully pour the liquid salve into clean glass jars or tins. Let the containers sit undisturbed at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours until the salve has completely solidified.
7. Store: Seal the containers tightly and store in a cool, dark place for maximum shelf life.
