Recipe Ingredients
- 66.0 grams Beeswax
- 4.0 grams Coconut oil
- 5.0 grams Shea butter
- 92.0grams Apricot seed oil
- 140.0 grams Grape seed oil infused with Rose petals
- 10.0 grams Sweet Almond oil infused with Hibiscus powder
- 10.0 grams Rosehip seed oil
- 2.0 grams Vitamin E oil
- 2.5 grams Essential oil blend
- 3 grams Hibiscus Powder "Can use more if needed."
- 5 gram Rose Petals "Can use more if needed."
Blend Ingredients
- Bergamot
- Patchouli
- Geranium
Instructions
Infuse. Mix Grape seed oil & Rose petals together in a jar. Mix Sweet Almond oil and Hibiscus powder together in a Jar and let infuse in a dark room for a week give it a little shake every day or put jar in a pan of water on a low heat for 2 hours to infuse the oil . Strain the powder out before adding to recipe. You can let it set for up to a month for a more strong Hibiscus or rose sent if you desire.
- Melt: Combine the beeswax, coconut oil, shea butter, grape seed oil, and sweet almond oil infused with Hibiscus powder a glass bowl over a double boiler. Heat over low heat until the beeswax is completely melted and the mixture is clear.
- Cool: Remove from the heat and allow the mixture to cool at room temperature for approximately 20 minutes, or until it begins to look slightly opaque but is still liquid.
- Incorporate: Gently stir in the Apricot oil, Rosehip seed oil and Vitamin E oil. These delicate oils are heat-sensitive, so adding them during the cooling phase preserves their botanical integrity.
- Scent: Add the Essential oil Blend . Whisk or use a hand mixer thoroughly to ensure the essential oils are evenly distributed throughout the base.
- Set: Pour the mixture into clean, dry glass jars. Leave the jars undisturbed at room temperature for 4 hours (or overnight) until the cream has completely solidified and reached its final firm texture.
