2 Minute Face Primer

Create a hydrating silicone-free primer in 2 minutes.

Why 2 Minute Face Primer

Primer

Don't know how much you love it, till it is gone!

Usually when you are getting ready for an event, and you need it right then.

So lets create a sooth canvas for your foundation !

Only 4 ingredients, Cost less the buying it at the drug store, and  you probably have the ingredients in your cupboard.

I just have to say Vegetable glycerin is the "Makeup Magnet". Glycerin pulls moisture from the air deep into your skin, keeping your face looking plump and "bouncy" all day.It has a sticky grip that acts like a double sided tape that anchors your foundation to your face. It fills in micro-fine lines, preventing makeup from settling into creases.

Recommended Blend

Fresh Clarity

  • Lavender
  • Tea tree
  • Fankincense

Recipe Ingredients

  • 40 ml (8 tsp) Aloe Vera Gel
  • 10 ml (2 tsp) Vegetable Glycerin
  • 10ml (2 tsp) Jojoba Oil
  • 5 drops Avocado Oil
  • Optional; 10 drops of essential oil

Blend Ingredients

  • Lavender
  • Tea tree
  • Fankincense

Instructions

When making  primer or any other skin care product, always sanitize your utensils. I like to use a Star San Sanitizer "a little goes a long way",  to wash my utensils. Use gloves, I noticed it is hard on  the skin. It does tend to strip the oils of hands.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base: Start by adding the Aloe Vera gel into a small bowl. Note: Use a clear, high-quality gel, not fresh gel as it will spoil.
  2. Add the Glycerin. Whisk it thoroughly until the mixture looks smooth and consistent.
  3. Incorporate the Oils: Add the Jojoba oil and the Avocado oil.
  4. Emulsify: Since you are mixing oil and water-based ingredients, they will naturally want to separate. Whisk vigorously for about 30–60 seconds until the mixture looks slightly milky and uniform.
  5. Bottle it up: Use your funnel to pour the primer into your container. A small sterilized glass bottle (pump or dropper style works best).
  6.  Optional; If you are in a hurry and want to be quick, you can also eye ball it and pour the item straight into the bottle. This recipe is very forgiving, you can play with it and create it specifically for your skin. A little less of this, a little bit more of that. Hope you on enjoy!

Optional; You can add 10 drops of essential oil that works well for your skin.

Lavender is great for those who deal with a lot of Redness.

Tea tree is great for those who deal with a lot of Acne.

Frankincense is great for those who the benefits of Pro-aging.
